Company profile
How to create a trustworthy company profile
A company profile should make a decision easier: it should explain what you do, where you work and how a customer can contact you. The best profile does not try to describe everything. It answers the most important questions clearly.
Use one version of your core details
Your company name, telephone number, address, email address and contact hours should follow the same format on your website, in directories and on social profiles. A different name or an old phone number reduces trust and makes contact harder.
Describe the offer precisely
Instead of saying “comprehensive services”, say what a customer can ask you to do. Add the industries you serve, common problems you solve and your service area. This helps people and search engines match the profile to the right need.
Explain the next step
State whether a quote needs a conversation, what information a customer should prepare and when you normally reply. A short explanation of the process reduces uncertain enquiries.
Update after every change
When your offer, location or team changes, update your own profile first and then the other channels. Review all core details at least once each quarter.
